BOOK LABYRINTH: A site-specific immersive performance made with an ensemble of 14-18 year olds for World Book Day
On Paper a very interesting project turning The Egg auditorium into an old 2nd hand bookshop where characters interact with voice recordings of general public reminiscing their favorite children’s novel.
Working in Partnership with the Bath literature Festival the Theatre Royal’s young People’s Theatre, directed by Lucy Cassidy, explored the piece and creatively used all spaces available in the theatre. The company performs amongst the seated audience (on cushions and large chairs) the balcony and catwalk areas of the theatre
An impressive and original piece brimming with high creativeness
Imax was pleased to supply Lighting Design and production support on the job, project managed by Derek Lee
